COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Academic activities at the Buddhist and Pali University are expected to resume within the next two weeks.
Vice-Chancellor of the Buddhist and Pali University Venerable Neluwe Sumanawansa Thera said they are hoping to reopen the university in a week or two.
The Buddhist and Pali University was closed indefinitely on the 19th of December.
The University was closed over ragging and several incidents.
Meanwhile, the government has announced that the Buddhist and Pali University will be reopened only after holding discussions with all Mahanayake Thera.
