Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen has arrived in Sri Lanka to join the 75th Independence Day celebrations.
He reached Colombo today and is expected to have a number of meetings apart from joining the Independence Day programmes.
The main ceremony of the State Independence Day celebrations will be held on the4th of February at 8:30am at the Galle Face Green under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The Bangladesh Foreign Minister is likely to meet President Wickremesinghe and the Prime Minister apart from Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry during his stay in Sri Lanka.
Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal is also set to join the celebrations.
