One person was reported missing after a ferry capsized at the Bolossagama ferry terminal in Kalutara South.
Police said the ferry arrived from the Galpatha terminal and was carrying five persons, three motorcycles and a bicycle.
Four persons were rescued by a group at the scene, when the ferry capsized.
Authorities revealed that the three motorcycles and bicycle drowned.
The driver of the ferry sustained injuries and was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital in Kalutara.
Police said the missing person’s identity has not been confirmed, adding search operations have been launched to find him.
The Kalutara South Police are conducting further investigations.
