Another 3,812 COVID-19 cases detected in Sri Lanka today

Another 3,812 COVID-19 cases have been detected today in the country, raising the number of confirmed infections to 416,182.

Another 3,812 COVID-19 cases have been detected in Sri Lanka today, raising the number of confirmed infections to 416,182.

All new cases have been linked to the New Year COVID-19 cluster.

Accordingly, the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 54,834 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities across the country.

Earlier today, 2,122 persons who recovered from COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries in the country to 353,191.

Sri Lanka’s coronavirus death toll is currently at 8,157.
