Another 23 coronavirus-related fatalities have been confirmed in Sri Lanka, raising the death toll to 14,205.
The Director-General of Health Services in a statement said all 23 deaths occurred yesterday, the 23rd of November.
11 males and 12 females were among the victims.
18 persons, nine males, and nine females among the group that succumbed to the virus, were 60 years of age or above.
Meanwhile, four individuals, one male, and three females, were between 30 and 59 years of age.
A male who was below the age of 30 years also passed away yesterday after contracting the novel coronavirus.
