Another 190 individuals have succumbed to the coronavirus.

The Government Information Department said the COVID-related death were reported yesterday, the 23rd of August.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka’s coronavirus related death toll increases to 7,750.

The Department said a male and a female among the fatalities were below the age of 30 years.

38 persons, 21 males and 17 females were between the ages of 30 and 59 while 150 individuals, 91 males and 59 females, were identified as 60 years or above.
