Another 161 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19.

Accordingly, the number of cases identified thus far today increases to 649.

Sri Lanka’s virus caseload accordingly increases to 531,070.

347 individuals earlier recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged during the past 24-hours raising recoveries to 492,305.

Meanwhile, The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 25,293 persons are currently receiving treatment for the coronavirus at several facilities.
