Another 12 coronavirus related fatalities have been confirmed in Sri Lanka, raising the death toll to 13,574.
The Director-General of Health Services in a statement said all 12 deaths were confirmed yesterday, the 21st of October. Seven males and five females were among the victims.
Eight persons, four males and four females among the group that succumbed to the virus, were 60 years of age or above.
Meanwhile, four individuals, three males and one female, were between 30 and 59 years of age.
