COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Another 11 Sri Lankans have been evacuated from violence-hit Sudan.
The Sri Lankan Embassy in Riyadh said the third batch of Sri Lankans evacuated from Sudan under the Saudi Arabian evacuation programme was received by the Counsel General of Sri Lanka in Jeddah.
The Embassy also expressed its appreciation to the government of Saudi Arabia for facilitating the repatriation of Lankans stranded in Sudan.
Two groups of Lankans were evacuated from Sudan previously with one of the batches already arriving in Sri Lanka.
