The Excise Department says all liquor stores across the island will be closed on the 4th of February in line with Independence Day.

The statement by the Exicise Commissioner General said liquor stores will remain closed on the 5th of February as well due to the poya holiday.

Accordingly, all liquor stores will be prohibited from opening on the 4th and 5th of this month.
