All liquor outlets across the island will be closed today in view of the 75th Independence Day.

COLOMBO (NewsRadio); All liquor outlets across the island will be closed today in view of the 75th Independence Day.

The Excise Department said liquor stores are prohibited from opening today and tomorrow as well.

The statement by the Excise Commissioner-General said liquor stores will remain closed tomorrow due to the Poya holiday.
