COLOMBO (NewsRadio); All government and government-approved private schools will reopen as scheduled tomorrow.
Schools were closed for April holidays on the 4th of this month.
The Ministry of Education said the second phase of the first school term for the academic year 2023 will commence tomorrow and will go on till the 12th of May.
Schools will be closed for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination from the 13th to the 24th of May.
The Education Ministry also said a circular related to the admission of students to intermediate classes in national schools will be issued on the 20th of April.
The Ministry noted that admission of students to Grades 2 to 4 and Grades 7 to 10 in national schools will be done as per the new circular.
