Leader of the JVP Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake today questioned the Prime Minister on the Presidential Task Force for One Country, One Law, that was appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Responding to MP Dissanayake in Parliament today, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said the Task Force was established to consider various suggestions and opinions of individuals on the subject and form a legal framework suitable for the country in order to implement the “One Country, One Law” policy within the country.
Joining the debate, Leader of the House Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said the Task Force was established according to powers vested with the President.
