94,651 COVID vaccines administered yesterday

94,651 COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Sri Lanka yesterday.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said a total of 10,867,900 citizens have thus far been fully vaccinated.

604 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while 50 received the second dose.

Meanwhile 37,623 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine, while 53,017 persons received the second dose.

Three individuals received the second dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine while 1,049 persons were given the first jab of the Pfizer vaccine, and 535 received the second dose.

1,675 individuals were inoculated with the first Moderna shot while 95 persons received the second Moderna jab.
