Another 94 coronavirus related fatalities have been confirmed in Sri Lanka, raising the death toll to 4,821.
The Director General of Health Services in a statement said all 94 deaths were confirmed on the 4th of August. 49 males and 45 females were among the victims.
37 males were over 60 years of age while 12 were between the ages of 30 and 59.
Two female victims were below the age of 30.
Of the female victims, 36 were over 60 years and seven were between 30 and 59.
