67 arrested for violating quarantine regulations

Another 67 persons have been arrested during the past 24 hours ending at 6 this morning on charges of violating quarantine regulations.

Another 67 persons have been arrested during the past 24 hours ending at 6 this morning on charges of violating quarantine regulations.

Accordingly, a total of 80,929 persons have been arrested over violation quarantine laws since October last year.

Police said 1,726 persons were inspected at 13 entry and exit points to the Western Province yesterday.

223 persons, travelling without a valid reason, were turned back at the checkpoints.
