52,417 vaccine doses have been administered against COVID-19 in Sri Lanka yesterday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said, 6,849 individuals received the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while another 14,110 were given the second jab.
The Epidemiology Unit added 890 individuals received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while the second jab was administered to 80 persons.
Furthermore, 12 individuals received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 180 others obtained the second jab.
15 persons were also administered the first dose of the Moderna vaccine and 30,274 were given the second jab.
According to data released by the Epidemiology Unit, 5,664,905 individuals in total have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, 124 vaccination centres will be in operation today in 19 districts.
