COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Around 3,500 Police officers have been deployed in Colombo on security and traffic operations for May Day.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said necessary directives have been issued to ensure safety of the public in Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and several other areas with political parties organizing May Day rallies.
