320,272 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country, yesterday.
The Ministry of Health said 271,402 persons were given the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while the second dose was administered to 11,485 individuals yesterday.
37,385 persons were also inoculated yesterday with Moderna vaccine doses.
Accordingly, 9,240,909 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Sri Lanka since January.
The Health Ministry said 6,971,648 Sinopharm vaccine doses, 1,311,127 doses of the AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine, 670,583 doses of the Moderna vaccine, 173,584 doses of the Sputnik V and 113,967 Pfizer vaccine doses have been administered in the country.
1,806,612 individuals have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 thus far in Sri Lanka.
