309,559 individuals were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sri Lanka yesterday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said, 65,695 individuals received the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while another 217,712 were given the second jab.
The Epidemiology Unit added 17,219 individuals received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while the second jab was administered to 493 persons.
Furthermore, 102 individuals received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 4,032 others obtained the second jab.
4,305 persons were also administered the first dose of the Moderna vaccine and one individual was given the second Sputnik-V dose.
According to data of the Epidemiology Unit, 4,524,810 individuals in total have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sri Lanka.
