The stock of 300kg of heroin worth over Rs.3 billion that was seized during a raid in international waters south of Sri Lanka is due to be brought to the Colombo Port today.
The Navy said 11 suspects were taken into custody along with two trawlers during the operation.
The raid was carried out jointly by the Sri Lanka Navy, State Intelligence Service, and the Police Narcotics Bureau.
