Over 8 million persons have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine in Sri Lanka, after 175,696 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered in the country yesterday.
42,814 first doses of the Sinopharm vaccine and 5,165 second doses were administered yesterday, while 16,252 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 111,465 first doses of the Moderna vaccine were also administered.
Accordingly a total of 8,040,200 persons have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine in Sri Lanka, while 1,722,998 have been fully vaccinated with the COVIShield, Sinopharm of Sputnik-V vaccine.
