2,720 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 thus far today.
Sri Lanka’s coronavirus caseload accordingly increases to 372,079. All 2,720 persons were linked to the New Year COVID-19 cluster.
2,186 individuals earlier recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged raising Sri Lanka’s total coronavirus recoveries to 318,714.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 46,761 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities across the country.
