26,161 individuals were administered vaccine doses against the coronavirus yesterday.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 2,107 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 9,489 individuals were administered the second Sinopharm dose.

5,681 individuals received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 524 individuals received the second Pfizer dose and 8,298 received the third dose.

Furthermore, 54 persons received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine, and 08 persons received the second jab.

The Health Ministry added that 13,727,520 individuals have been fully vaccinated in Sri Lanka.
