233,720 administered vaccine jabs yesterday

233,720 persons have been administered vaccine doses yesterday against the coronavirus.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 87,438 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine yesterday while 13,255 individuals received the second jab.

Meanwhile, 16,628 individuals were administered the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine while 116,399 persons were given the Moderna vaccine jab.

The Epidemiology Unit said 1,736,314 individuals have thus far been fully vaccinated.
