223,354 COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Sri Lanka yesterday.

223,354 COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Sri Lanka yesterday.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 2,146 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while 29,413 received the second dose.

Meanwhile 114,462 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine, while 29,995 persons received the second dose.

21,676 individuals received the second dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine while 929 persons were given the first jab of the Pfizer vaccine, and 23,143 received the second dose.

1,299 individuals were inoculated with the first Moderna shot while 291 persons received the second Moderna jab.
