Another 1,902 persons who contracted the novel coronavirus have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries to 282,770.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said accordingly, 26,428 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities across the country.

The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in the country remains at 313,769 following the detection of 2,420 patients yesterday.
