148,306 persons jabbed against COVID-19 yesterday

148,306 COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Sri Lanka yesterday.

148,306 COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Sri Lanka yesterday.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 2,025 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while 25,530 received the second dose.

Meanwhile 62,385 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine, while 22,800 persons received the second dose.

10,480 individuals received the second dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine while 943 persons were given the first jab of the Pfizer vaccine, and 24,023 received the second dose.

78 individuals were inoculated with the first Moderna shot while 42 persons received the second Moderna jab.
