A new 1390 hotline has been introduced for the programme that will allow asymptomatic COVID-19 patients between the ages of 2 and 65 to be treated at home.
The programme to treat asymptomatic COVD-19 patients at home under the supervision of doctors will be launched from Monday.
Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi said the decision was reached having taken into consideration the prevailing COVID-19 situation.
