A consignment of 1.6 million Sinopharm doses, donated by the Chinese government will arrive in Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Issuing a statement, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said the vaccine doses will arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport onboard two SriLankan Airlines flights around 5.45 am and 6.15 am.
The consignment will boost total vaccine doses imported to Sri Lanka at 10.07 million jabs.
India has urged its citizens travelling to or living in Canada to "exercise utmost caution".
